Brunswick/Mercury Marine is seeking an intern to take part in the design and development of software to interact with engine hardware for their G3 Computer Diagnostic System tool, a desktop application designed to run on Windows PCs.
Requirements
- Experience with cross-platform development, cloud technologies, web applications and services, and embedded firmware build using C on .NET 8.
- CAN, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and networking experience a plus.
- Apigee, JSON, and XML experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop and implement diagnostic applications using C on .NET 8.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, high performing production applications for users across the globe.
- Leverage your existing skills while learning and implementing new technologies.
- Work shoulder to shoulder with experienced engineers in the field of marine technology.
- Become experienced in developing functional requirements and user stories, data analysis, documenting and authenticating testing results, and technical report writing.
Other
- Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
- Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) onsite in Oshkosh, WI during the summer of 2026.
- Creative ability with strong software aptitude.
