Eagleview is looking to hire a Software Engineering Intern to join their Strategic Research & Development team to develop high-performance applications using C/C++ with a focus on image processing technologies.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming or other low-level algorithmic processing language.
- Experience or coursework in image processing, computer vision, or a related area.
- Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with GIS software, OpenCV, or other imaging libraries or tools.
- Knowledge of parallel computing or AWS cloud computing.
- Previous internship or project experience in software development or image processing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of C/C++ applications with a focus on image processing.
- Contribute to the improvement of existing imaging algorithms and the development of new technology solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate image processing features into broader systems.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain standard coding practices.
- Document software specifications and maintain technical documentation.
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Image Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
