Kollmorgen is looking for Software Engineer Interns to contribute to the design and development of PC or embedded software for industrial motion control products, aiming to improve and customize user browsing experience and for analytics.
Requirements
- Pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree.
Responsibilities
- designs PC or embedded software for industrial motion control products
- PC software is used for advanced analysis and configuration of motion controllers
- Embedded software performs servo motor control, reads sensor data, and communicates on high-speed device networks
- Kollmorgen software teams use advanced development techniques such as sprints, retrospectives, unit testing, refactoring, and fully automated build & test systems
- Kollmorgen software engineers become highly skilled experts in fields like control systems, user interface design, protocol design, and embedded computing

- Must have strong written and oral communication skills for direct and frequent communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Must have good interpersonal skills for our multi-functional team environment.
- Ability to work with all levels, including management and production personnel, to resolve technical issues that are identified through the manufacturing process.
