WEX Inc. is looking for an Enterprise Applications Engineer Intern to contribute to their product roadmap and business goals by designing, developing, and testing new features, while also troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship.
- You have some experience with at least one programming language like Java, Python, C-Sharp/.NET or JavaScript.
- You have some experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and SSO (SAML, OAuth)
- You have a solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers to design, develop, and test new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Work on a project that directly contributes to our product roadmap and business goals.
