General Dynamics Land Systems is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to support their vehicle infrastructure OS/BSP team with integration support for vehicle electronic systems, specializing in ground vehicle combat weapons computer system/software abstraction layer development.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in either Electrical or Computer Science Engineering; other technical degrees will be considered with relevant experience from an accredited 4-year university or college.
- Preferred - GPA of 3.0 or higher
Responsibilities
- Planning, specification development,
- Coding and testing moderately complex software control/display/dsp programs.
- Assisting in other engineering activities such as integration testing, algorithm & data analysis and software troubleshooting.
Other
- Must have attained at least a Junior status based on university/college's class standing requirements at the start of the internship.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
- Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.
- Ability to meet ASR requirements to work in/on various vehicles.
- Minimal travel required.
