SoTalent is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their client's product development team, which is a leading innovator in commercial equipment technology. The intern will contribute to the design, development, and testing of next-generation products.
Requirements
- Programming experience in C or C-Sharp preferred; additional experience with Python, C++, Visual C, JSON, or CAN bus protocols is advantageous.
- A minor or coursework in Cybersecurity is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and test embedded software and product features.
- Support the creation and enhancement of internal development tools and systems.
- Conduct data analysis on collected field data to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Work closely with mentors and senior engineers to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and learn best practices in software development.
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with an emphasis on embedded systems or software application development (Windows, macOS, or Android).
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
- Enrollment in an academic program throughout the internship period is required; candidates entering their sophomore year or beyond are encouraged to apply.
- Strong problem-solving ability, effective communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
