7-Eleven Inc. is looking for Software Engineer Interns to help solve the company's business problems by applying academic principles to software development, potentially improving and customizing the user browsing experience and for analytics about website visitors.
Requirements
- Experience in C++, Java, JavaScript or Python
- Proficiency in a programming language, familiarity with cloud services(AWS or Azure)
Responsibilities
- Code high-volume software using C++, Java, JavaScript or Python.
- Implement web interfaces/mobile applications using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Swift, Java or Kotlin
- Build RESTful API’s and Microservices.
- Receptive to learning the team's technology stack including cloud, participate in design/code reviews, apply academic principles to solving the company's business problems
Other
- Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
