The Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Software (SW) Engineering Department at Collins Aerospace needs to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry, ensuring customers can complete their most complex missions.
Requirements
- Software development experience (i.e. internship, co-op, or other work or academic project experience).
- Experience with C++ or JAVA.
- Software life cycle, Agile development, and/or configuration management experience.
Responsibilities
- participation, with direction from a Senior Software Engineer, on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and tools to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
- Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Candidate should be proficient with general purpose computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
