Realtor.com is looking to empower more people to find their way home by breaking barriers to entry, making the right connections, and building confidence through expert guidance, and is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to this mission.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Python, TypeScript, React, NestJS, and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing new features using Python, TypeScript, React, NestJS, and GraphQL.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing features and systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
