Xometry is looking to solve complex problems in the manufacturing industry by connecting people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life, and is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of scalable software solutions that power Xometry's platform.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development principles
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Understanding of debugging and code optimization techniques
- Experience with agile development processes
- Familiarity with modern technologies and frameworks used in the manufacturing industry
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of scalable software solutions that power Xometry's platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Learn and apply best practices in software development, including version control, debugging, and code optimization.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and agile development processes.
- Gain exposure to modern technologies, frameworks, and tools used in the manufacturing industry.
Other
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026).
- Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
