RTX is looking to solve the problem of managing and developing systems on a global scale for the Aviation industry, ensuring the uninterrupted movement of air travel by overseeing messaging data in transit and the timely arrival of passengers worldwide. The systems managed are critical for over 1,500 aviation customers, transmitting 75 million messages daily.

- Strong knowledge of computer systems and networks
- Familiarity with the Linux Operating System
- Strong Problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Manage computer systems and networks at our data center in Annapolis, MD
- Support on-site activities, including racking devices, cabling, and deploying new systems.
- Maintain system-level requirements documentation.
- Develop software test cases to ensure connectivity and data transmission.
- Support designing and developing complex systems for the Aviation community.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives to help improve the system's security posture.
Other
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Student focused on Systems/Mechanical or a degree in a related field.
- This position may be eligible for relocation.
