Archer is seeking an intern to support the development and verification of flight software for their all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, aiming to advance sustainable air mobility.
Requirements
- Familiarity with C and Python
- Familiarity with full-lifecycle software development
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Electric Engine Control Software engineering team to support development and verification of flight software.
- Prepare technical documentation, including requirements, design, implementation, and verification cases and procedures.
- Engage in problems solving efforts, offering innovative solutions and troubleshooting issues as they come up.
- Participate in the development of software environment infrastructure, including CICD pipelines, Hardware- and Software-in-the-Loop testers, and Static Code Analysis tooling.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field at an accredited university, preferably a rising Senior
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to commit to a 10 week internship
- This role will be based at Archer HQ in San Jose, CA
- Relocation and housing will not be provided.
- Archer is unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position at the present time.
