Collins Aerospace is looking to solve system engineering initiatives and deliver exceptional services and goods globally, specifically in the C2BMC program, by hiring a Software Engineer Intern.
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Aerospace, or Computer Science.
- Experience with advanced SE analytics tools
- Prior experience or coursework related to systems engineering.
- Java and C++
- Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Security, and Operating Systems.
- Software Development; or Software Testing; or Software Integration.
Responsibilities
- As an Intern you will be paired with more experienced engineers in performing software engineering.
- This position is for a summer intern to support the C2BMC with the Regional Apps Resource Management Area on the C2BMC program.
- Coordinate with software development task orders supporting the C2BMC Next Program.
- Gain experience with Software Development; or Software Testing; or Software Integration.
- Gain experience using Java and C++, and additional areas like Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Security, and Operating Systems.
- How to create and manage software engineering reports, analyze data, and drive compliance.
- Exposure to Software Engineering and DOD Systems.
