Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is looking to solve business and technical problems in the aerospace and defense sectors by hiring an Engineer Intern to work on real-world assignments and projects.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Microsoft Access skills
- Pursuing a degree in engineering or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Get your hands on actual projects, and at the same time, prepare for a truly awesome career in aerospace and defense
- Work side by side with recognized industry experts on real-world assignments directly related to their field of study
- Attend planning meetings, complete assignments as tasked by your team, absorb and learn from your team and apply that learning to projects assigned
- Participate in an in-depth program built by our University Recruiting team, that includes cross-functional workshops and meeting with leadership to gain understanding of the business and SNC culture
- Learn fundamental business processes and procedures, build your technical foundation through practice and mentorship
- Be part of an actual project team
- Complete assignments as tasked by your team
Other
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- Must have been an SNC 2025 Summer Intern
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
