Develop and support distributed micro-services that power the lifecycle of shipments on the Uber Freight platform and maintain Freight’s search infrastructure
Requirements
Good experience with at least one programming language preferably in Java, Go, or Python
Experience building Search infrastructures, Indexing pipelines
Experience with Search technologies (Lucene, ElasticSearch, Solr)
Knowledge of stream/batch processing engines (Apache Spark, Apache Flink)
Experience working with microservices
Experience with storage technologies (SQL, Hive)

Actively pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical subject area
