Jingo is looking to build a new kind of shopping OS that blends intent, mood, and memory, and needs a software engineer intern to help deliver features that blend cutting-edge AI with intuitive user experiences.
Requirements
- Strong skills in: Node.js and NestJS, PostgreSQL and general backend architecture, API development and third-party integration
- Familiarity with React, Next.js
- Experience working with GCP (not required — pipelines already set up)
Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Build and refine APIs using NestJS, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- System Integration: Connect services and optimize backend performance
- Frontend Touchpoints: Light work with UI components in React/Next.js
- Rapid Iteration: Prototype and deploy features based on real user signals
Other
- Current undergrad (or recent graduate) in CS, EE, or related field
- Must be based in the Bay Area (or willing to move) and able to work from our SF office daily
- Clear communicator, self-directed, and collaborative
