Prox is looking to build the future of smart grocery shopping by comparing grocery prices across retailers in real time and needs a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to front-end and back-end development of their consumer platform.
Requirements
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React, React Native, Expo).
- Interest in backend technologies (APIs, databases, scraping tools).
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn quickly.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to front-end and back-end development of our consumer platform.
- Help design and implement new product features for web and mobile.
- Support data integration projects and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with the founder on technical problem-solving and product direction.
- Gain exposure to modern dev tools and workflows used in fast-moving startups.
Other
- Ability to commit 15–20 hours/week (flexible around school schedules).
- Based in Southern California is a plus (opportunities for in-person collaboration).
