SAIC is seeking rising juniors or seniors for Software Engineering internship positions to perform software support using C++ or Linux to resolve coding errors, and assist in developing and updating code for the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS).
Requirements
- Basic understanding of C++ and/or Linux
- Software systems engineering and coding (Python, Java, C, C++)
- Web development (Jascript, html) and Database (SQL)
- System data structures and algorithms (sorting, linked lists, arrays, trees)
- Debugging tools
- Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)
- Gitlab/Git Command Line
Responsibilities
- Performs Software Engineering activities including requirements definition, system analysis, scripting to automate processes, and design, and systems integration.
- Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to review and resolve coding errors and develop new code
- Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents to develop specifications
- Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK
- Investigates anomalies and supports multidisciplinary teams for resolution
