Snap Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team to design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app, and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences and fulfill their vision of spatial computing.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development in iOS mobile apps
- 3+ years of experience with consumer-facing iOS mobile app development
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Swift or Objective-C
- Experience with building mobile apps interacting with AR/VR devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
- Experience with cross-platform development, such as building software running across iOS and Android mobile devices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences and fulfill our vision of spatial computing
- Work with Product, Design and partners across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products
- Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality
- You understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- work in an office 4+ days per week
