The Video Applications team at Apple is looking to define and implement privacy-first instrumentation capabilities for their media creation applications, including iMovie, Final Cut Camera, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Compressor, to improve the creator experience while preserving user privacy.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Swift and/or Objective-C, C/C++
  • Proven software engineering background including key concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Familiarity with media content creation tools is an added plus
  • Experience in user interface implementation
  • Experience in cross-platform applications
  • Experience in instrumentation frameworks
  • Experience in application architecture

Other

  • BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others
  • Passionate about the power of data to drive product innovation and improvements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate technical concepts across a broad multi-disciplinary organization
