Emerson is looking for a Software Engineer (IT) to assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications, providing an opportunity for developers to grow their skills and contribute to enterprise-scale software projects.
Requirements
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Node.js, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Cosmos.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), version control systems (e.g. Git) is plus.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Node.js, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Cosmos.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions about best practices and technology choices.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications.
- Test and deploy applications and systems, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Document development processes, code changes, and application functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and contribute to team growth.
