To provide easy-to-use platforms and services that make user communication effortless at scale for Squarespace product teams and customers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing production systems using Java and Spring
- 1+ years of experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Postgres and CockroachDB
- 1+ years of experience with asynchronous eventing systems and platforms such as Kafka
- Front-end development experience with React or Typescript is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers in the execution of projects focused on building frameworks and tools for Media services
- Work on projects using technologies like Java, Spring, Kafka, MongoDB, Postgres, CockroachDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP
- Write well structured and maintainable backend code
- Participate in code reviews, team processes and provide feedback about best practices
