Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience in building and operating large-scale systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools including GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, Terraform, SonarQube
- Experience with cloud architecture, particularly GCP, involving microservices, REST APIs, and serverless platforms like Cloud Run and Cloud Functions
- Strong understanding of system design, performance tuning, reliability engineering, and capacity planning
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and security best practices
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of critical platform features within the Industrial System Analytics (ISA) domain
- Write high-quality, production-grade code, perform system integration, and contribute directly to codebases
- Drive performance tuning, reliability engineering, and capacity planning to ensure scalable solutions
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical guidance to foster a high-performance engineering culture
- Lead experimentation and prototyping efforts for emerging technologies, including AI/ML integrations such as large language models (LLMs)
- Translate non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and reliability into actionable architecture and design solutions
- Design and develop core ISA platform components, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise data platforms and IT source systems
Other
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or data platform development
- At least 5 years of experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-team initiatives
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, data platform engineers, AI specialists, product managers, and security teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
