Anduril Industries is looking to solve the problem of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, specifically by developing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology for military systems in months, not years. This role focuses on developing the core networking technology to coordinate teams of modern autonomous vehicles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of production-grade C++ experience in a Linux development environment
  • Interest and development experience in communications and networking of distributed systems
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
  • Experience with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, babel)
  • Experience with VPN technologies (ipsec, wireguard)
  • Experience with Applied cryptography (public key infrastructure, TPMs)
  • Experience with advanced linux networking (nftables, ebfp, routing rules)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy networking solutions at all layers
  • Develop, optimize, and support software to manage networking hardware
  • Develop instrumentation for networking performance and improve system efficacy.
  • Create diagnostic, testing, simulation tools, and implement system level network testing
  • Develop networking simulation software for modelling real world networking constraints
  • Debug issues at all layers of the stack from low level kernel bugs to cloud networking issues

Other

  • Work directly with customers and product teams to identify network designs and features necessary to achieve mission success.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
  • A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • Travel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world
