QinetiQ US is looking to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners, requiring expertise in secure enterprise software program development and management within defense and aerospace contexts.
Requirements
- Experience building, testing, delivering, and deploying secure enterprise software systems
- Expertise in Agile processes and implementation for large-scale software programs
- Familiarity with highly available, scalable cloud native solutions within commercial industry.
- Experience with Air Force, Space Force, and/or Space Systems Command enterprise software systems
Responsibilities
- Provide computer and network systems engineering and technical advice for projects and programs as well as support program acquisition efforts for advanced technology, future concept development, and integration activities.
- Support the revision or drafting of JCIDS and acquisition documentation such as Initial Capability Documents, Analysis of Alternatives, Concept of Operations, Technical/Systems Requirement Documents, Technical Evaluations, and System Specifications.
- Provide inputs and support on technical and/or programmatic status reporting of individual projects, programs, or portfolios.
- Identify areas of improvement with actionable, feasible recommendations, and tasks for reducing risk where appropriate as well as support risk identification, process definition, and detailed technical risk mitigation plans.
- Maintain awareness of current program schedule, monitor acquisition implementation, report requirement shortfalls, and provide program assessments based on the identified risks.
- Shall advise the Government program manager on technical engagements such as technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program conferences, and other informational meetings.
- Provide technical and operational insight to support mission protection, operations, and mission data assessments as well as recommend viable solutions for technical anomalies.

- Effective management experience with large-scale programs (more than 100 personnel)
- Experience communicating with leadership, stakeholders, and development communities
- Knowledgeable with DoD, Air Force, Space Force, and/or Space Systems Command processes and procedures or delivering systems to production environments.
