As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas or Birmingham. This position is primarily based in a location within the PNC footprint.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Python programming and SQL.
- Proficient in the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark).
- Proficient in the Neo4j ecosystem (e.g., Browser, Cypher, Bloom).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, GLBA).
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Exposure to banking data types (e.g., transactions, customer profiles, risk metrics).
Responsibilities
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
