Northrop Grumman is seeking to enhance its revolutionary systems by hiring a Software Engineer who can contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
Requirements
- Experienced C/C++/Python/Java programmer
- Experience with DevSecOps environments in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Gitlab
- Experience working on a Ground Segment program
- Familiarity with RF Signal Data Processing
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- Resolves software problem reports.
- Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Perform hands-on development and actively contribute to the code base including peer review of code.

- Requires an active Top-Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance [TS/SCI] at time of application
