Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Lua
- knowledgeable and experienced with web servers, & HTTP
- Comfortable in Golang
Responsibilities
- Create new primitives to expand the product feature set of Vercel CDN
- Optimize the Vercel CDN experience to improve reliability and lower latency
- Analyze web latency to find sources of tail latency
- Advance the developer experience for 15+ developers working primarily in Lua
- build and run Vercel’s built-in CDN, powering framework-aware routing, caching, and high-performance traffic delivery
- handle networking, TLS termination, routing, storage, and caching, all with the goal of creating innovative edge services that make the web faster and more reliable
