Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in applied Machine Learning, with a proven track record of delivering scalable ML solutions.
- Deep expertise in mainstream Recommender System (RecSys) model architectures such as two-tower, transformer-based models, multi-task learning, wide and deep models, etc.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Extensive experience in building high-performance machine learning systems at scale, from ideation through production deployment.
- Strong product intuition with a focus on user feedback and real-world impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and solve open-ended, technically challenging problems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and technical direction for ML systems, setting high standards for performance, scalability, and robustness.
- Design, develop, and scale low-latency, high-throughput recommender systems that power features used by tens of millions of users daily.
- Build and deploy advanced ML models utilizing deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization techniques to improve user engagement and personalization.
- Collaborate with product teams to define ML-driven product roadmaps, balancing rapid iteration with long-term system scalability and maintainability.
- Identify systemic challenges and opportunities for innovation within ML infrastructure and algorithms.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Contribute to research and development efforts to stay at the forefront of ML advancements relevant to platform discovery and engagement.

- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
