Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Internal Tools software engineering team and drive the evolution of Forge, the company's proprietary supply chain, manufacturing, and mission execution software.
Requirements
- Strong technical proficiency in modern web technologies such as JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and web frameworks (e.g., Remix, NextJS)
- Familiarity with AWS, TypeScript, and React/Remix (preferred)
- Experience building scalable enterprise applications with stringent availability requirements
- Experience with automation and internal tool enhancements
- Experience with software design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance software engineering team to create elegant SaaS and on-premise solutions
- Guide and mentor engineers, enhancing team capabilities, coding standards, and delivery practices
- Define strategic technical roadmaps in collaboration with product and design teams
- Drive the implementation of automation and internal tool enhancements
- Champion best practices for software design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement within the team
Other
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of team leadership/management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields (or equivalent experience)
- U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled data access
- Eligibility for obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Top Secret (TS) clearance (preferred)
- Exceptional ability to empathize with users, translating business and user needs into strategic engineering priorities
