TabaPay is leading the way in instant digital payments, helping thousands of Fintechs instantly move money in and out of accounts and expanding into other countries. The company is experiencing rapid growth and needs to scale its engineering team and processes to meet demand.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in GoLang or Python.
- Experience managing software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and customer requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, documentation
- Ensure projects are going according to schedule
- Raise any red flags if there any internal issues
- Meet with engineering leadership to understand the project roadmap

- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through regular coaching, career development planning, and performance feedback
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
- Conduct 1:1 check ins weekly (document, help develop goals, problem solve any road blocks)
- Acclimate new hires into the team
- Collaborate across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to build and maintain reliable software.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years in a management or tech lead role.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with strategic leadership.
- This position is located in our Palo Alto, CA HQ.
