Reddit is seeking a full-stack engineering leader to drive the development of innovative ad creative solutions that streamline the creation, management, and optimization of ad assets, empowering advertisers to launch high-performing campaigns efficiently and contributing to Reddit’s growth in the digital advertising space.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in full-stack development
- Proven leadership experience managing and growing engineering teams across multiple projects
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers to develop new features and products
- Deep knowledge of full-stack product development practices, including frontend and backend technologies
- Technical expertise in languages such as Typescript, Go, and Python
- Experience working with frameworks like React, Thrift, Baseplate, Kafka, and Airflow
- Knowledge of data stores including Postgres, Cassandra, Druid, Redis, and BigQuery
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of fast iteration, experimentation, and collaboration
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to identify opportunities and build new ad functionalities and products
- Maintain ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch
- Drive innovation by applying the latest technologies, including AI and large language models, to solve customer challenges
- Work closely with multiple teams across Reddit to ensure advertiser success and improve user experience
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions
- Contribute to a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and improvement
