The company is looking to enhance operational efficiency within its warehouse execution and management systems by improving logic, execution, integration, and optimizing tasks and labor. They also aim to grow engineering talent and ensure seamless integration of third-party tools.

Requirements

  • Mastery of an object oriented programming language (preferably Java)
  • Experience applying Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) to orchestrate multi-step, autonomous workflows.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or autonomous agents for optimization in dynamic environments.
  • Mastery of cloud computing preferably on GCP.
  • Mastery of a modern scripting language (preferably Python)
  • Mastery of a modern web application framework such as Spring MVC, and Node.js
  • Mastery of writing SQL queries against a relational database

Responsibilities

  • Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases
  • Works with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical tooling and platforms
  • Creates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively
  • Contributes to enterprise-wide tools to drive destructive testing, automation, and engineering empowerment
  • Evaluates new technologies for adoption across the enterprise
  • Leverages Agentic AI approaches to build autonomous workflows that improve warehouse efficiency, such as dynamic task allocation, order streaming, routing, and labor optimization.
  • Provides application support for software running in production

  • Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Software Engineers
  • Attracts, retains, and develops top talent to build a world class Software Engineering Team
  • Conducts annual and mid-year reviews by reviewing individual development plans and team feedback
  • Fosters collaboration with team members to drive consistency across product teams, and finds opportunities to expose engineers to career interests
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
