The Home Depot is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Experimentation Platform team, building and scaling a centralized platform to enable data-driven decisions across the company.

Requirements

  • Mastery of an object oriented programming language (preferably Java)
  • Experience setting the technical vision for Enterprise Scale Experimentation Platform
  • Strong Understanding and Integration of Client and Server-side experimentation platforms with Modern Web Application Framework such as React / Vue.js / Next.js / Angular
  • Experience with A/B testing and Digital analytics, including platform implementation, test execution, and analysis
  • Experience with Cloud Based Environments (GCP) and integration with Experimentation Platforms like Adobe and Digital Analytics tools like Adobe / Google Analytics and Data Visualization (Looker, Tableau)
  • Mastery of cross-functional collaboration and modern product development processes, pipelines
  • Experience with Edge based Delivery of Content and Caching for large E-commerce Industry

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates and pairs with product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
  • Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met
  • Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases
  • Works with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical tooling and platforms
  • Creates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively
  • Contributes to enterprise-wide tools to drive destructive testing, automation, and engineering empowerment
  • Evaluates new technologies for adoption across the enterprise
