Fleetio is looking to solve the business problem of efficiently managing external maintenance activities and providing seamless payment solutions for fleet operations by enhancing their Marketplace platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a software engineer
- 1+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
- Some experience with ReactJS and Typescript
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with data modeling and writing efficient queries
- Solid experience solving challenging architectural problems with good design
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
Responsibilities
- Writing maintainable code
- Implementing new features with an emphasis on connecting customers to maintenance shops, facilitating service, approvals, transactions, billing, and data entry for fleets
- Help design and implement features to support our Marketplace offering, facilitating payments for vendors and customers
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to consistently deliver high-quality software
- Contribute to technical discussions, bringing ideas to the table and helping shape solutions
- Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code
- Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and ensuring quality across the team
