Requirements
- Basic experience in software development, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C-Sharp.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies and design patterns.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and clinical experts to develop and test software tools that support medical informatics initiatives.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of software components and data pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Document code, workflows, and technical decisions clearly and concisely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Other
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross- functional teams.
- Ability to communicate results clearly and work effectively in a team setting.
- Experience with version control tools, such as Git/GitHub.
- Contributions to open-source projects or scientific publications in medical informatics.
