Booz Allen is looking for a back-end developer to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for their clients.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Java
- 1+ year of experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot
- Experience with API development, including REST architectural style
- Experience with Linux OS and Command Line Interface
- Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab
Responsibilities
- Contribute to solution development
- Create efficient and effective systems
- Use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions
- Work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability
- Help identify potential risks
- Develop user-focused solutions
- Create clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure
Other
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Ability to investigate root causes and provide corrective actions
