The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA, to design, develop, and integrate software products for satellite testing and other space applications, addressing the challenging test requirements of their business partners and customers.
Requirements
- Experience working in full software development life-cycle
- Experience in software programming with C, C++, C, Angular/React, .NET coding, debug and development
- Experience in shell scripting languages including Python
- Experience developing verification requirements, verification plans and test procedures
- Experience in Object Oriented Application Development
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including experience in a configuration-managed environment and compliance with standards
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) measurements and testing
Responsibilities
- Develops code and integrates complex software components into a fully functional system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Analyzes and supports factory support issues related to software/hardware integration
- Develop test architecture for software products (Test Executives, T&C Engine, Tools)
- Develops and executes software project and process plans, implements policies and procedures
- Develop new interfaces for new instruments and systems in C, C+, C, Angular/ React, .net and other object-oriented languages
- Enhance test case architecture for Bus and RF product testing
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
