The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA, for the design, development and integration of software products for satellite test and other space applications.
Requirements
- Experience working in full software development life-cycle
- Experience in software programming with C, C++, C-Sharp, Angular/React, .NET coding, debug and development
- Experience in shell scripting languages including Python
- Experience developing verification requirements, verification plans and test procedures
- Knowledge of telemetry and command formats, timing requirements for satellite communication and processing
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including experience in a configuration-managed environment and compliance with standards
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) measurements and testing
Responsibilities
- Develops code and integrates complex software components into a fully functional system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Analyzes and supports factory support issues related to software/hardware integration
- Develop test architecture for software products (Test Executives, T&C Engine, Tools)
- Develops and executes software project and process plans, implements policies and procedures
- Develop new interfaces for new instruments and systems in C, C+, C-Sharp, Angular/ React, .net and other object-oriented languages
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
