CFD Research is seeking to support the development and sustainment of a simulation framework software for test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and all-digital representations of complex missile defense elements
Requirements
- Strong containerization skills and experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and Python, including object oriented
- Experience with scrum/agile software development
- Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks
- Working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Experience with integration and deployment of software systems
Responsibilities
- Support the lifecycle of software development efforts, which include development, integration, and deployment for test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems
- Enhance understanding of the missile defense system and how each element is integrated into framework for test campaigns
- Develop and sustain simulation framework software
- Integrate software with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems
- Deploy software for test and analysis efforts
- Support test campaigns with all-digital representations of complex missile defense elements
- Collaborate with team to support software development efforts
Other
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution
- Mid and senior level experience candidates (5-15 years) will be considered
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an Active Secret security clearance
- 100% onsite work in Huntsville, AL area
- Must be able to work in a team environment
