Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++ or Python.
- Experience with program analysis.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with performance, data analysis of large-scale systems, visualization tools or debugging.
- Experience with static or dynamic analysis.
- Experience with security/privacy.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product or system development code to build detection technologies that protect Android users from Security and Privacy threats.
- Design and build automated, static program analysis frameworks at Google scale.
- Design and build secure, helpful, code-exploration-based reverse-engineering tools.
- Research and propose new ideas to detect trending malware and abusive apps using static analysis.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Collaborate with other teams in the organization and Google to deliver impact.
- US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
