Requirements
- JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency
- React or React Native experience (1+ years)
- RESTful API design and consumption
- SQL database experience (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Git workflows and PR-based collaboration
- Unit testing with Jest or similar frameworks
- Node.js backend development
- AWS services (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
- GraphQL APIs
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
Responsibilities
- Build features for patient-facing applications
- Support and improve AI-powered features
- Contribute to shared systems, including backend APIs, performance optimization, and developer tooling
- Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment
- Collaborate across teams, including product, design, and engineering
- Make meaningful contributions to code reviews and testing infrastructure
- Identify and drive improvements to developer experience
Other
- 3-5 years building production web or mobile applications
- Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset, with ability to actively participate in design discussions and value team input
