National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, is looking to solve the problem of building and enhancing software products to meet evolving customer needs through the implementation of applications following 12-factor principles.
Requirements
- Experience with 12-factor principles
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment
- Experience with frontends (web or mobile) and backend services
- Experience with full stack software development
- 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Experience with paired programming
Responsibilities
- Practices daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products
- Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
- Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product
- Collaborates within the team in designing systems and apps
- Provides support for software products in user environments
- Participates in knowledge sharing, and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team
- Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team’s backlog
Other
- 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- No supervisory duties
