Formlabs is looking to solve unique customer challenges and bring professional 3D printing to every designer, engineer, factory floor, and medical institution throughout the world by building and scaling their custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and launching a new class of 3D printing at scale.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Full-stack Web Developer with experience in a production environment.
- Experience with Python/Django and Next.js and React.js.
- Experience with web development in a mixed local/cloud hybrid setup.
- Background working with hardware or equipment, or an appreciation for the bridge between software and the physical world.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with data engineering and dashboarding tools.
- Experience with 3D models, processing, or analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement core software features for the Form Now print-on-demand service.
- Architect and build the next generation of factory software, including our custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Create robust backend code using Python/Django, and user-facing frontend code with Next.js and React.js.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with factory operators, product managers, and leadership to define and deliver new features and integrations.
- Take full ownership of your projects, from initial scoping and development to testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Maintain and improve our existing codebase, ensuring reliability and scalability in a production environment.
