Responsibilities
- Product engineering (building products and automation to make it easier to trade and sell energy, optimize batteries, and more)
- Data pipelines (reliable data ingestion for ML models)
- ML infrastructure (orchestration of ML jobs, data loading, GPUs)
- Backend infrastructure (setting new Kubernetes services, observability)
- Developer velocity through tooling and automation (CI/CD, Buildkite, dependency management)
Other
- 3 days in-office in Cupertino is mandatory, but 4-5 days is preferred.
- Interested in working at a startup and taking a lot of responsibility.
- Engineers are also PMs, designers, and devops; you help build the infrastructure and dig into the data.
- You’ll also sometimes need to figure out what to build and prioritize.
- You like to move fast. You should be able to pick up new skills efficiently, and be able to build things quickly.
