Zions Bancorporation is seeking to transform its workforce of the future by leading the design, development, and implementation of DevOps and delivery platforms to streamline IT delivery and enhance speed, reliability, and traceability across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Senior level applied scripting/programming experience with languages such as Java, Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Bash, YAML, and React framework.
- Experience in micro-service development and container-based technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong experience with Object Oriented Programming languages and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
- Experience with deployment and release orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Working knowledge and experience with database admin and language basics such as SQL and MySQL and/or Mongo.
- Strong experience with IaC and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with APIs, programming interfaces, and cross-platform integrations
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for DevOps and delivery tools.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Mentor engineers and foster technical growth across the team.
- Facilitate technical discussions and presentations to share knowledge and align teams.
- Coordinate efforts across departments to ensure cohesive delivery pipelines.
- Act as a technical advisor and reviewer for critical projects.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and integrations.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy in team interactions.
