Velo3D is starting a new team to bring machine learning into their build setup pipeline to improve the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience
- 1+ years of C++ on any platform
- Familiarity with python
- Familiarity with computational geometry concepts
- Experience with machine learning is a plus
- Experience with AWS is a plus
Responsibilities
- helping set up machine learning models and pipelines on data extracted from our builds
- help create a data repository to manage many terabytes of data used for training and analysis
- extract geometric features from customer parts to feed them in to ML models
- developing geometric optimization procedures to reduce surface defects.
Other
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Math.
- Good communication skills
