Requirements
- Coding in at least one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, C, or Python
- Building large-scale server applications in Python, PHP, or Ruby
- Relational databases and SQL
- Building maintainable and testable code bases including API design and unit testing techniques
- Conducting design and code reviews
- Preparation, implementation & evaluation of large scale A/B tests
- Object-oriented software development
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming and software engineering.
- Use a scientific approach to solve large, complex problems, leveraging strong understanding of product engineering foundations.
- Demonstrating ability to interpret data about products or systems & make recommendations for engineering or product direction based on those insights using a strong foundation in mathematics.
- Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

- Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
- Two years of experience in computer-related occupation
