Requirements
- Coding in: C, C++, Java, or C#
- Building large-scale infrastructure applications
- Creating web applications using: Python, PHP, or Ruby
- Relational databases and SQL
- Implementing web interfaces using: JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, create, modify, or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
- Develop strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, or systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
- Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.
- Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
Other
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the specified areas.
- Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. allowed.
