Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building web applications as a full-stack engineer, preferably at a technology company
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks such as Ruby, TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, or similar
- Strong understanding of system architecture, software design principles, and best practices
- Experience developing user-centric, polished interfaces and engaging user experiences
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple services and stack levels
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and building systems from first principles
Responsibilities
- Design and implement compelling, user-friendly experiences across Thatch’s platforms, including dashboards and portals
- Own the full lifecycle of features, from conception through deployment and maintenance
- Maintain and elevate engineering standards, ensuring consistency and quality across the codebase
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly to ensure optimal platform performance
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, uphold engineering standards, and contribute to building scalable, reliable solutions.
